In conceptualizing this series, I looked to answer an essential question regarding our Post-Pandemic lives: “What has been the impact on our socialization after communal experiences of transgression, such as 9/11 and the Covid-19 Pandemic?” The outcome seemed most obvious: Our interpersonal relationships and communal rituals have experienced substantive transformations, affected by a gross over-indulgence of individualism, technological ubiquitousness, misinformation, excessive expression, image filtering, virtue signaling, dissociation, and persona-obsession. I became, therefore, keenly interested in depicting these transformations in stages of socialization. Born out of these meditations is Bunny and the Bear: A Modern Relation.
